How should i take CBD extract?

There are several ways to use CBD extract. But how can you best use CBD extract? For optimal results, take the extract sublingually (under the tongue). The salivary glands quickly absorb the cannabinoids and enter the bloodstream. The CBD extract starts working within 5 to 10 minutes. Another method is to swallow the extract directly. The effect lasts longer because the oil must pass through the digestive system before absorption.

Sublingual use is simple; follow these 3 steps:

  1. Start with a rice grain size drop.
  2. Apply it under the tongue.
  3. Let the oil absorb for at least 30 to 60 seconds, then swallow.

What is CBD Extract?

CBD (Cannabidiol) extract (or paste) is pure oil derived from the hemp plant. It is the first (cold) pressing of the whole hemp plant. The pure form__we call this "Raw" CBD extract. It contains to the full spectrum of active substances that de versatile hemp plant is rich in. Full spectrum extract is made by preserving the entire hemp's original chemical profile. The most abundant cannabinoid in the extract is cannabidiol (CBD), other cannabinoids such as, cannabidiol acid (CBDa), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC), and cannabinol (CBN) are available in smaller amounts, than there are terpenes, flavonoids, and other compounds. It is believed that; a more "complete" or "whole plant" extract is more powerful and effective. Our PHYTO+ CBD extracts 2000mg are Raw full spectrum oils.

CBD is a non-psychoactive compound, meaning it does not produce the "high" commonly known from THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another substance found in this beneficent plant. CBD extract is used for multiple purposes, such as reducing anxiety, pain relief, improving sleep, and many others.

What are the benefits of CBD Extract?

The cannabinoids that are abundantly present in Raw CBD extract __also known as phytocannabinoids, interact with our body's endocannabinoid system, which is a complex network of receptors (receivers) and chemicals that regulate many bodily functions such as pain, mood, appetite, sleep, and immune system response. By interacting with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the endocannabinoid system, CBD and all other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids helps regulate these functions and can alleviate these symptoms such as pain, anxiety, and inflammation. Additionally, CBD and CBDa have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may help protect the body from damage caused by free radicals and other toxins to which we are exposed every day, and may reduce the risk of certain health conditions.

Here are some POTENTIAL BENEFITS OF CBD extract:

  • Reducing anxiety and stress: Studies have shown that CBD has an anxiolytic effect, which may help with anxiety and stress reduction.
  • Sleep improvement: Studies have that CBD can improve the quality of sleep and duration by decreasing symptoms such as restlessness, difficulty falling asleep, and staying asleep.
  • Pain relief: Studies have shown that CBD has pain-relieving properties, which may help to relieve pain problems and reduce inflammation (which can cause pain).
  • Inflammation reduction: Studies have shown that CBD has an anti-inflammatory effect, which may help reduce inflammation and improve symptoms of many inflammatory conditions.
  • Cardiovascular health improvement: CBD has been shown to may improve cardiovascular health by blood pressure reduction and reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke.
  • Improving skin health (including acne): CBD has been shown to improve skin health by decreasing inflamed skin and promoting a healthy balance of oils in the skin.
  • Mental health improvement: CBD has been shown to may potentially benefit overall mental health, preventing conditions such as anxiety and depression.

How does CBD Extract work in your body?

Well, humans and many other animals have endocannabinoids in their bodies. Endocannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds that resemble the active compounds phytocannabinoids (phyto = plant) found in the magnificent hemp plant, and they play a crucial role in regulating many physiological processes through interaction with our endocannabinoid system (ECS). As you might already know, Full spectrum (whole plant) CBD extract consists of these different beneficial substances like cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. These substances work together to create the so-called 'entourage effect.' Phytocannabinoids are of significant influence on the ECS. But what is the endocannabinoid system (ECS)... you might ask? The ECS is a complex network of receptors (receivers) and signaling pathways that regulate many physiological processes throughout the body, including pain sensation, mood, appetite, and sleep.

The ECS is composed of two main types of receptors: CB1 receptors, primarily found in the central nervous system, and CB2 receptors, primarily found in the peripheral nervous system and immune cells.

Cannabidiol (CBD) interacts with the ECS by indirectly influencing the activity of these receptors. It does not bind directly to CB1 or CB2 receptors but instead modulates the activity of these receptors, reducing their sensitivity to the naturally occurring endocannabinoids that activate them.

This adjustment of the ECS can lead to various powerful therapeutic effects, including pain relief, reduced anxiety and depression, improved sleep, and others.

How much CBD Extract should you take?

First of all, a full spectrum extract like our Raw CBD oil extract of 20% is a very strong and potent oil, because it is still in its purest form. It is not diluted or purified. Just plain crude oil with amazing potential health benefits. So how do I determine my optimal dosage? We answer that since every human body reacts differently to phyto cannabinoids, the correct dosage of CBD extract can vary based on the specific condition you want to use it for and most importantly the potency of the extract. Weight, body chemistry, and intended use are all factors that can impact the appropriate dose.

There is no standard CBD oil dose, so each person's reaction to it can be unique. Therefore, as we already mentioned __it's crucial to pay attention to the CBD concentration in the product and consider using a full-spectrum oil, as it may be more effective than an oil containing only CBD isolate.

If you are new to CBD it is essential to know that our CBD hemp oil extract 2000mg is a very strong oil. We advise being careful when you start finding your dosage with a very potent CBD hemp extract.

As a starting point, it's recommended to begin with a very low dose __ just a single "rice grain sized" drop per day, gradually increasing it every 3 to 4 days until you find the right amount that works for you. The optimal effect of CBD extract intake is sublingual (under the tongue). Put the drop under your tongue, wait 60 seconds and then swallow. The salivary glands will quickly absorb the active compounds and enter the bloodstream.

If this method of CBD intake does not work for you, no worries, you can always mix it in a drink or healthy snack, or mix it with a bit of honey on a spoon.

Is CBD Extract safe to use?

CBD extract is a popular 100% natural supplement used by many people worldwide for its amazing potentially effective properties. It is a safe product. It does not cause serious side effects and it is not addictive. While some users may experience mild side effects such as dry mouth, drowsiness, and dizziness, these side effects are usually mild and subside quickly.

Nevertheless, it is important to consider the possible interactions that CBD oil extract may have with drugs that are metabolized by the liver. Do you use medicines? Then it is advisable to consult your doctor before you want to start using a strong concentration of natural CBD. Another important thing, is to ensure that the CBD extract you buy is of high quality and has been tested in a laboratory, such as our CBD hemp oil extract 20%. By purchasing a high-quality oil/extract, you are guaranteed that the CBD product actually contains the percentage stated on the label and is free of harmful substances.
